Alpha Academic Appeals have delivered a talk on cheating in higher education institutions at the Education Law Association meeting on 5th March 2019, attended by a mixture of barristers and solicitors. After providing several examples of cases, Dr Sokol concluded that the standard of investigation and decision-making in academic misconduct cases was generally low and that further training was necessary for university staff involved in this important process.
